Dev-C++ 4 System : Windows 95/98/NT/2000
Dev-C++ 5 System : Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP
dang, you beat me to it :P
and make sure you download the newest version. The older ones are a living hell with all the bugs.
extremely thanx ! I'll ask google for Devc++5. :)Quote:

That's only because XP wasn't out when Dev-C++ 4 came out. I've got 4 on my XP box at home and it works fine.
I downloaded the new version just to test if it wasn't so buggy. And I stuck with it because it is almost bug-free. 5 can use the visual themes as well, where 4 can't.
yep, install procedure is OK, the matter comes when I try to compile an run my source code, system give me a hint that couldnt find the right address such as 0x00fe45......:(
Dev 5 is extremely harsh in bugs, thats y I have 4
Well it would compile absolutely NOTHING for me... :(
oh, my winXP couldnt run it then. no........................:(
