Sound in console apps

I know this is possible. I came across a website that had a bunch of code for console applications, and it included code to play wav files and mp3 files. But I CAN'T FIND THE SITE ANYMORE!!! I'd like to play a few sounds in my "Mists of Avalon" game. Does anyone know of any sites where I can do this or know of any code? Thanks!

P.S. I know there's a "waveplay.cpp" file on the CProgramming website, but it won't work for me as I don't have all those include files it needs.
