I was wondering. Right now I kinda know the basics of C++, but I want to try and create GAMES. Is it hard? At least to start with some simple ones?
Thanks :)

And I also heard that there's a Game Development Kit called CDX or something like that (www.cdx.sk). I tried to check it out but the website wont load :(. Says "Page Not Found". Have they moved somewhere? I heard it's free also.
Thanks :)
Well its not hard to make bad games I'll tell you that! To produce good games, well it takes a lot of time and dedication. I would definitely get the core C++ stuff down first then maybe learn an API. Maybe try making a text-based game first, thats the way people usually start. Look up some tutorials on the internet, I'm sure there are thousands. I know nothing about CDX.Quote:

Thanks.. I'll try.
PS: The Question is still valid for other users :)
Just don't expect anything other than basic games if you only know the basics.Quote:

Nevertheless, it shouldn't be too hard to write a simple game, text-based that is, just don't stop until you've completed it.
Sure, I'll try :). Any Tutorials?
Try this :D
Thanks :)
Hey, wanna be my buddy?
look, not to be rude or anyithing, i aint here to be anyones buddy, but i don't have a problem with that either, just leave that stuff out of threads and the C board.
there's this thing known as "private messaging" ya know
I know, that's why.. so I could just ask you something in private... Dont worry.. nothing bad .. only programming
lol, that looks like a funny misunderstanding (:
Ok :)
