Borland C++ v.5 & Borland Turbo C++ 4.5

A beginner to use Borland C++ version 5 . When I compile my program in Borland C++ v 5 , it shows the output in dos window ( black colour background ) . It works when I run a small program , but it didn't show output when I compile a large program .
However , when I compile the large program in Borland Turbo 4.5 , it works and show the output in a new window (white colour colour background ) .
How can I change the setting inside the Borland V.5 so that it show the output in a new window(white background ) when compile my program like Borland 4.5 do ?
