"Stips" on computer? (a boring story)

OK, here's my semi-useless story:


Get this, I tell my friend1 he's not a computer nerd because he doen't know his own processor speed. He goes and tells friend2. Friend2 asks me how many "strips" my computer has. I say I've never heard of a strip and ask what it is. He says its thos green lines on your mother board. He says a 266mhz would have 100 strips and a 550mhz would have 250 strips. "So these little things morph when you put a new processor in" I say (cause I upgraded my CPU a few months back). He says "yeah, guess you don't know so much about computers after all." Well its a few days later and I finally got him to admit there is no such thing as strips. He said it made friend1 feel bad when I told him he wasn't a computer nerd...

Moral of the story:
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. (nevermind, that won't work, then the whole world would make up new computer terms to get at one another. refer to this )
