RPG. Hands down. FPS are fun for a while but there's nothing to hold your attention.
Cannot hold our attention becaz it's still space for improving in the games sectors. What i want to say is " PLAY it, EXPERIENCE it, and LEAVE it":)
Strategy is good but the current games cannot reflect the true scenes. Don't say something like "Games is games, too true cannot be gameable!". I want to play the TRUE one.
PS:Currently i'm playing CIV3. It's good but should be more realistic. As realistic as possible.
I like strategy and sports the most. I guess the main reason why I like sports games so much is because of my love for sports. I like strategy games a lot because of the feel of being in control and having all the decisions. I like other gamesthat are in other genres too but for the most part I enjoy these two genres the most.
Well, the Civ series is not meant to be as realistic as possible. Civ covers a very broad topic, therefore, the abstration is well warranted. Civ is intended to be turn based and abstract, and in my opinion this doesn't need to be changed. I would hate to see the basis of Civ be changed, but I would love to see a new series be created that is similar to Civ but a lot more indepth/less abstract/etc... Hopefully you understand what I'm trying to say. Btw, Civ2 (yep, Civ2 not Civ3) is the best game ever!:DQuote:

P.S. I've been playing Halo on my X-Box and Civ3 on my PC. Tomorrow I'm going to buy World Series Baseball for my X-Box.
sorry to copy your PS thing, FCF.
I addicted to fighting games when youger. And now I prefer RPG. ;)
Note: puzzle games also drive me crazy these days. there are many useful algorithms worth learning. :D
RPG all the way!

MMORPG's are the bomb. I have wasted countless hours, ruined my education, and gone without bathing all in the name of leveling a character, finding items, and socializing (and I'm just a casual player not hardcore!). Everquest and Dark Age of Camelot are among the best, and there are soooo many more planned for release this year and next with Star Wars Galaxies being the mother of them all. How will I ever find the time to play them all?! If you add them the list I will vote because they definitely don't fit into the category of "other."
AMEN Bro. :DQuote:
Play Halo.
I spent countless hours laughing and running my little brother over with the jeep.Quote:
Play Halo.
LOL same here... He gets mad and runs out though...
We have to "play around" and not kill each other
Ok whos up for a Halo thread so we dont spam?
I wouldn't call it spamming...
This thread is called "Favorite Type of Game." I guess we might want to discuss what makes it so.
Getting bored and visciously attaking your partner on a mission. LOL hitting him in the back of the head with the butt of your gun...
Me and my brother were in a co-op mission and i told him
"As soon as I say NOW! run right at the enimies..."
I then slapped a plasma grenade on his back and said NOW...
LOL i was cryin :D
As long as you talk about games in here, I don't care, maybe the mods do.
