I had to for a scouting merit badge a few years back.

I live outside America and I have never contacted political representatives sinc I don't have such persons.
I've made it a habit to do so on a daily basis.
I've never done that, although I should... maybe...
Uh I voted for yes by mistake, but I haven't........I never have. I think I signed a petition once. But me directly no.
i have, as stated in a related thread
I wrote a mail to our chancelor yesterday, after I heard an interview of him and his bull.......... views of computer games being to blame for the Erfurt school massacre.
I wrote to all of my congressmen and told them the benefits of legalizing marijuana for medical and industrial purposes. :)
Contacting congressman is something that can't hurt, but realistically speaking, it probably won't do anything.
I have letters all over my refrigerator from govt ministers. Mainly on broadband access. (surprise)
But wasn't this specifically about the US copyright changes?

Every winter the papers run the 'D&D == satan worship' and / or 'video games == murder training' piece here. I always wonder if it is because they have no other news or if they think it has a large target audience (mainly those who think it is rubbish)
Maybe they need just to allocate the blame to something or they will have to think about the real reasons.
What's a congressman....? I'm corn-fused....
A little off topic... but how many posts does it take to get past "member" status?
/* some of your posts in this thread have been deleted. Please don't post for the sake of raising your postcount. -nv, mod */
400.
a congressman or congresswoman is a representative in congress. s/he represents a dictrict or a state, and votes the way the people of that state want to. (ideally, anyway.)

That depends on what country you live. In the Netherlands a congressman or congresswoman represents a political party and vote according to the ideals of their party.
