Off of the dollar bill, right? What does that thing stand for in the first place?
That seems open to interpretation. Some people say it is a Masonic symbol. The U.S. Bureau of Engraving doesn't say much other than it is a spiritual symbol.Quote:

I knew it was had something to do with masonry (sp?), just didn't know what it was exactly... to think about it, we have lots of different symbols on our currency that I don't understand... which is kind of weird, using the money without knowing what's on it. ...but then again, as long as you have money, you don't care what's on it, right? :)

I don't really pay attention to what is on currency unless it is foreign. U.S. curency is boring.
The only thing I pay attention to is the number printed a bunch of times.

This too is open to debate. This elusive "spider" is no more than a mere design easter egg done unintentionally. It is the back right side towards the upper corner in the border "weaving".
