how do I install code blocks from the book I've down loaded it the book & code blocks 10.05-1-debian-i386.tar.BZ2 Ive just upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04 LTS firefox 12 "before the download" none of those windows come up it just looks like a compressed directory

he clearly explains very good how to install it. Read it carefully.
If it's a compressed directory mayby you should open it and the installer is in it?
I've got windows so i'm not sure xD
