I have already wrote the synchronous client/server mini chat. I am writing the UI now.
Still needed:
1. asynchronous functionality
2. UI
3. integration of the socket code into the UI
4. linked list for usernames/passwords
I figured i would post and if anyone wants to join, then they will. Message me i guess or reply here.
It's just for the experience and fun. Nothing more.
The UI toolkit i am using is GTK+
The sockets are coded in C.
Development platform is of course Linux.
You probably want to think twice before responding to this because I am a crappy coder and my logical thinking is crap!
I posted this without thinking. How the hell am I going to do this when I have never been able to successfully code a select server lol and here I am trying to do just that, code a select server and on top of it, plug in a GUI lol. Am i cracked out or what? Haha
