Has anyone ever used litestep b4?
Yeah, I made my own theme once, it was so great. Exactly how I wanted my GUI to look. It was actually a lot like something from starttrek now that I think of it...I split my desktop into a few buttons and got rid of the taskbar. hmm....Oh well, you get bored with it after awhile
What do u you think of the general layout and operation of it, litestep?
It's pretty nice, and totally customizeable, so the layout really doesn't MATTER....:)
What about compatability with the programs an stuff? Will the high-end apps work with it? Can I still screw around with a registry system?
Litestep does more than change the look of your desktop, it totally modifies the feel(if you so desire).IMHO litestep is the perfect way to play with your GUI. As some of you may or may not know litestep is open source, which is the reason i'm typing this in a programming forum now.
Anyone who is interested in a good and useful tool check out

This is a screen shot of litestep, it may give you an idea of it's capibility's, but the only way to truly know is to try it. In this theme all the graphic's were made by me (i got lucky with a distortion tool) and all the module's e.g. the system meter's (rainmeter.dll by rainy) can be placed any where on the desktop and all the module's can be any size, any where...just go check it out.
