Server client program help please.

I posted this once befor but it was of no help.

I am a perl programmer just learning C++ and I need help.
No matter how hard I look I can't find any books on server client programs or interprocess communication as it is called in perl
if any one knows any thing on this subject please help.

No problem.... I just got puzzled. I looked for meaning, and thought you were talking to somebody named Shay!!! My bad... not yours.

I am enjoying the talk about this "Shay" guy but does any one know any thing about server client programs? :confused:

What is your question? How far along are you in C++ knowledge? Do you know how to use classes and derive classes?

I am fairly far in to it and have the knowledge to what I am looking for.

I know that I must use a the socket class but I don't know where to learn how to.
