Job description:
As a programmer at IGL, you will be tasked with the challenge of designing and implementing creative methods to prevent and detect cheating in the array of online games supported by IGL.
Working closely with a team of 4-5 developers, you will be creating one of the most sophisticated client side tools in the eSports industry. The tool will consist of a chat network, pick-up game system (where users can play self-organized competitive style match-ups), and most importantly cheat detection. The goal is to create and maintain a complete client that users log into and use daily.

Skills Required:

• Ability to work independently without supervision

• Capability of taking on responsibility, and delegating when necessary

Experience desired:

• C++ (2yrs+)
• SQL/MYSQL
• Network & security protocols
• Client/Server connectivity
• Black-box & white-box testing experience
• Steam / Valve Games
• EA Sports Games (ex. Battlefield)

Nice to have:

• Java
• PHP
• Experience coding at the Kernel level (Ring (computer security) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I suspect that you would be better off saying that the salary is "negotiable" with those possible side benefits, because after the job description that you gave, I find it hard to imagine that a serious candidate would be willing to work as a volunteer with only the potential of pay for what appears to be a commercial venture.

Thats not a bad idea, however I do not want to miss-lead people. The project will most likely last 8-12 weeks, and then require periodic updates. I also made the post as profesional / commercial sounding as possible to reflect IGL as a business.

We are trying to get majority of positions filled with volunteers. We do have financing, however the budget is stretched. Programmers will be among the first on payroll when the company begins generating revenue.

Having ~5 programmers should also lesson the workload. The job could almost definitely be completed by 1 or 2 experienced programmers.
