checking how frequent a word appear in a string

hi,
im trying to write a c-program that counts the frequency of a given word in a sentence and is terminated by a % sign, I have tried all sorts of code and its been givin me hell...can anyone assist me plz

Seriously though, what have you tried? Read our homework policy. Give it your best shot, and if you get stuck, come back and post your code in code tags. Then ask a specific question. It would probably be good for you to read the forum guidelines too.

ok i got it working now ill post the code as soon as i figure out dis [code] thing and thanks for the heads up..............
