Preventing memory leaks, sockets and threads on Unix - best resources

I'm looking for some good resources ( tutorial or a chapters from books ) to learn about preventing memory leaks, sockets and threads on Unix.

So far i've read Prata's C++ Primer, which is a great book, but to general.
And a few chapters from "Practical C++ Programming 2003".

All i've read about threads and sockets was from Wrox.Beginning.Linux.Programming.4th.Edition.Nov.2 007, but i didn't like it at all.

Using smart pointers and applying the RAII principle goes a long way. Boost.ScopeExit helps a lot, as well.
