What do you mean?
No it's very real.
Are you admiring the gobs of security fixes??
"Remote execution of code" means basically these are probably all buffer overflow bugs. A common occurrence, unfortunately.
And you think what would make sense was to only display open source software, when they can also display proprietary software?
All the Adobe products I rely on from day to day are in general:
- Slow
- Unstable
- Bug-ridden
- Memory and system hogs
- All have non-standard non-intuitive interfaces
- Insist on doing dialogs their way instead of just using Microsoft Common Dialog Boxes
Not a big fan of any of their products except for PhotoShop. Even that program pretty much takes over the system. Adobe CS4 pretty much crashes 4 to 5 times during any normal usage. When in Rome do as the Romans do. When in Windows do as other Windows apps do - use the common dialog boxes.
*shrug*
The site has a fairly good API for accessing the database. A lot of little widgets, RSS readers, and things read it. I'm a little surprised more restricted applications don't use it.
