showing bitmap in window from a resource

I am following this tutorial
Win32 Tutorial - Lesson 13: Bitmaps
ive got it compiled but the bitmap is failing to show up , in the properties of the bitmap it says cannot display image so something must be wrong, can anyone help?

Is the path to the bmp correct?

Shouldn't it have a ".\" showing it is relative to the programs working folder?
