Which of these Olympic games would you watch (if they existed)?
Oops, those should have been checkboxes instead of radio buttons.
Is there a way of changing them?
grr, no Olympic Mahjong. Or Pool.
Anyways, I'd like Olympic Martial Arts.
Bowling?
I'd rather see Aussie ANZAC veterans play bowls. I'm not kidding. Beats bowling in excitement every day. Pass.
Chess?
Wonderful to play, dead boring to watch. Pass.
Poker?
Having failed miserably at poker, I grew a distaste for anyone succeeding at it. Pass.
Programming?
What languages? What libraries? What platforms? What program types? Speed or size? There would be more medals to had than a century worth of summer Olympics. Pass.
Cooking?
Eating Olympics would be more exciting. Drinking olympics would be more fun. But cooking olympics? Pass.
... Olympic World of Warcraft? Eesh! Not to mention being forced to watch a video game screen on television. Pass.
And there's more in fact. Judo, wrestling, etc...
But could be interesting a olympic event that gathered a healthy dose of martial arts and testosterone.
Yes, I corrected myself... I just threw out the first one that came to mind and stuck with it before I decided I should start naming the rest.
I think you're talking Ultimate Fighting Championship.
In my opinion, with the strength that sport has been building, I wouldn't be shocked to see that in the 2016 or 2020 Olympics.
Had a look at UFC... isn't it a mixed style fight? I'm thinking actual martial arts. Not cable tv comedians.
Olympic mahjong would be fun if more people learned it.
If you buy Four Winds Mahjong, you'll have little me as an oversees partner. Mostly I play COJ rules and Japanese preferably. Do not appreciate Hong Kong rules, but sure will play it too. I appreciate American Modern rules too.

I'm disappointed now.
Heheh, something like Sasuke/"Ninja Warrior"?Quote:

The UFC is boring to watch -- you have to sit through like five or ten fights before anything interesting happens. It's less interesting than plain ol' boxing. It's illegal in some states too, eg. New York (but not because it's boring).
The WWF is way more exciting and more athletic, altho it is more like the "ultimate performance" than the "ultimate fight".
I would like to participate in programming, but watch cooking. :p
It's actually not good to measure time. It would be best to have a fixed time limit but problems difficult enough so people would not only score 0 or max points, but other amounts too. Something along the lines of IOI.
