Ah, well in that case your right, you wont need an array. My main point was to store it somewhere so you can access it later. If its just a letter you could simply use a variable, say char. I was under the impression that you are trying to code tetris, but I realized your program is a lot simpler. Well, like I said there are a number of ways to do this.
