The company is a system software company delivering a high performance, highly efficient parallel operating system for emerging petascale computing hardware. The position requires C or C++ and Linux experience. The company is offering relocation assistance.

Job Summary:
Software Developer to design, implement, test and debug a highly reliable, distributed system.

Qualifications:
• BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering
• C/C++ and Linux/Unix Engineering
• Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment
• Ability to work well in a cooperative development environment
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt easily to evolving requirements
• Ability to work independently to solve difficult problems and implement solutions

Requirements:
• Proven experience with multithreading in general, and Pthreads in particular
• Familiarity with BSD sockets API or distributed systems
• Experience designing scalable and reliable software, and with parallel file systems
