Problems making a highscore

Hey, I'm trying to make a boundsingball program, the point with the program is that you can't let the balls hit the floor then you loose. quite simple.

I want to make a highscore were i can sort the highest scores, and i want them to show when you've lost so you can see how you did.
the problem is to make the .txt file, read from it, and write to it, and show it on the screen, it's a game i have to hand it and get pass'd to get the chance to take the exam.
Going informatikk (computerprogramming study).

There are some bugs in it, i'm working on it.

First of all, you don't need to pass screen in

Where does data_t come in? It's not declared anywhere.

Oh yes, and you don't need the .DLL files when you're compiling under linux. I'm not certain that your makefile will even work properly under linux.

I'm new with the programming, and i'm out of ideas that's one reason i posted it here if people could give me some "headings/what to do next" just been programming for 4 months.

Hey, no problems. We were all once new programmers.

Also, for the record, you can upload .ZIP files that have the extension .TXT here if you need to. It's preferable, I think, to using something like FileFront. (Others will disagree with me here . . .)

But i see now that this is a hard way to do make a high score list, or ?
Because i still got the function "Create file" + "Read file" + "Write to file" + "Close file". Got any ideas where to implement these functions ?

You're getting those errors because the struct member called "name" doesn't exist, e.g.

PoolEvent or PollEvent?

Since PoolEvent doesn't exist, I'm assuming PollEvent . . .

That warning may be a result of SDL_events.h not being included correctly.
