Sigh. You realize that if someone wants to chat about a general topic, they'll start such a topic. General topics like "everything in all" is usually a bad idea and gets locked or ignored pretty soon. I thought you should know that by now.
Manav your title confuses me, I keep thinking you are banned.

zacs7 - why would you hope that? i am always polite! maybe sometimes a little disappointed! i take great care not to go off topic in a genuine thread! if i have to say something i usually PM it or start such thread :) and in every technical/programming board there is always such a general section! it's just that, more than you guys, i enjoy such sections more :)
i could join hundreds of other socializing sites on net, but, the sad part is, i will not be able to access them from my office, i am doing c++, i need to be on this board, and when bored on this board, i need to relax a bit, that's why general section is there, at least for me!!

And many of your posts can be seen as rude because you obviously do not know how to form a formal request or question. And you seem to annoy members with endless questions or weird ideas.

The problem I have with topics like these is that you can essentially spam any topic in the world in little detail and expect conversation. As it happens, you end up talking with people who have their own agenda and know exactly what they want to talk about, such as
