IDE
Hi,
I have good experience with C++, and C and am starting a new project that I need help getting of the ground with. The project is an IDE, specific to use with the GCC compiler collection. I would like it to be geared towards operating system development, as I am currently working on my own os! I need advice as on what GUI framework to use (WinAPI, MFC, GTK+). Also any other IDE specific stuff???
I have looked around and I cannot find an IDE programmed in C/C++ at all! Dev C++ is in Pascal ( I think ), Eclipse is in Java! Does anyone know of an open source IDE ( fairly simple ) that I could look at the get an IDE of what I need to build.
Many Thanks,
Harry.

Take a look at Code::Blocks.

yeah I would second that. Code::Blocks is really good...their new version 8.02 now works with windows vista. Code::Blocks also supports a multitude of compilers too.

??
How was that a stupid question!

Cheers, I have downloaded the source and am steadily browsing through it.

code::blocks perhaps?
Or goto sourceforge.net and search for IDE, there's 1000's
