Does anyone Know of Someone willing to teach me C++. I have some of the basics down like If statements, Loops, Switch case, File I/O. Also my budget is not exactly high
buy a book and have an inspiration to write something.
Books can often do a better job than a teacher, I would dare say. For questions, you can come here and we will answer them.
I thought I would try this once with a guy learning Java over on another forum. It wasn't for money, just out of the kindness of my heart.
Turned out the guy JUST DID NOT GET PROGRAMMING at all. I gave up after a few hours and told him to go find someone local to him so they could slap him upside the head whenever he didn't listen to what he was being told or implement the suggestions he was given. I won't do that remotely again. Too painful.
So, my advice to you - find someone local to you.
when I first started programming, I already knew a program that I wanted to write. It helps a lot, because it gives you something to practice on. It turns out to be a lot more fun to write something that you're truely interested in also.
