Bluetooth UART
Hi, If a board spec says that a processor can support and perhaps comes along with the bluetooht UART does that mean i dont have to buy any bluetooth dongle and stick it on to serial port.
Or does that mean it can support bluetooth but i need to buy a dougle. I am pretty confused about this. And if so the board comes along with the bluetooth I could use bluez library to program that bluetooth. Is that right?
Thanks you

Correct.
Except for programming (see later), I think you have all the hardware you need to talk 'BT'

Is the specific hardware you're looking at in the supported hardware list of the library?
Ask the board manufacturer for clarification.

Hi Salem, thanks a lot for your reply. As you said i contacted the manufacturer. What they said was that the board donst even support Bluetooth, I was pretty surprised to hear that from them.
Because, the processor manual says that it has a bluetooth UART and perhaps. But the manufacture say that it donst support that.
They also said that, i could connect anything to my serial port. Which basically mean that i could buy a bluetooth which connects to a serial port and just program the serial port. Does it make any sense at here?
Thanks a lot again
