to the mods
What is going on with all these people signing up and not even posting 1 post. As of right now (in the members tab), there are 128 pages of members. Page 99 starts where people posted 1 (and only one) message. That's 29 pages of non-posters. Shouldn't you delete these or something?

No, we shouldn't There's plenty of people who register and just "lurk", or read posts and don't actually post anythign themselves. There's nothing wrong with that.

Oh, I guess that makes sense.

Why would they need to register if they just want to "lurk" around?

Well, I think that it doenn't hurt anybody.
They might subscribe and then look for the answer for a question they have, and they find it!!!, so they don't need to post any reply.

The few and the proud who actually look for the answer before posting a question. I bet salem and quazah would be happy if everyone did this... By the way how do i clear the screen?:D

throw the monitor out the window... :) [insert verification of FAQ-read flag here...]
hmmm... we've discerned this before... but a new idea that people don't need to subscribe to the board in order to view it is a good argument... [i'm pro-boardmemberlistcleaning...btw]...

I'm a lurker...
I just search through posts and find information on various questions/interests. If I can't find what I'm looking for I'll ask a question... I'll offer info if I think I can truly add to the thread.
If it helps.. I'll start posting links to the FAQ under the "how do I (in the FAQ)" threads until I get around 50 posts or so.. then I'll go back to lurking.
