C++ test questions
Hi all,
Can you point to a site that has lots of C++ questions, so i can improve my C++?
Im at the stage now where i have kinda grasped the basics and a bit more, but i want to move from reading the book to completeing lots of exercises.
Lastly would you still recommend i stick with console until im pretty good, before moving onto c++ cli.
Cheers RocketMan

You're already here.

C++/CLI is a different language, but yes, a strong foundation in the language is recommended before you move into graphics, and console programming keeps the user interface simple.

C++ dot net is not recommended. It's Microsoft-only, vendor lock in. I suggest you try C# instead. Just so you're aware.

Nope, it's actually a standard and there does exist other compilers than Microsoft's one, though they're pretty poor as of yet.
-
C++/CLI is an ECMA standard, too. (Or at least it's in the process of being standardized.)
-
Well, that's great. But let's wait until it's finalized--Microsoft has been slapped on their hands several times with standards.
-
Not in ECMA. Its members are organizations, not countries. MS has enough pull there to standardize even complete nonsense like OOXML.

Well, thanks for the heads up. Good for those C++ fans out there who wants dot net too.
