Linux Bootloader
Hey.. a few days ago I installed mandrake linux 10.0.. I had windows xp home installed before.. and with linux came the bootloader which let me select wich os i wanna load up.. Everything was fine until I formatted the linux partition from windows xp using partition magic 8.0.. it couldnt load any existing os.. I didn't know what to do.. so I reinstalled linux and bootloader and everything was fine again.. But what if I want to remove linux from my computer? how do I do that?

if u want to remove linux, do what you did before then instert windows xp cd, go to repair console or whatever and type in whatever command repairs the master boot record, fixmbr i think it is.

Ruski: Its because most of the bootloader is stored on the linux partition, so you're effectively deleting it...
