what is the point of invisibility mode on the board?
so people don't know that you are on.
well yeah, i worked that out! but what is the point of not allowing people to know you are on, in a chat room i can understand it but in a forum? whats the point?
In this forum you can just see that your logged in. In about three other forums that I am member of (using vBulletin) you can actually see either the individual board or thread that a person is viewing. I think that's why they have the privacy feature.

You can do that here as well.
>>you can do that here as well.<<
oh really? I didn't know that. My mistake. I just know you can do it on other boards because it's either displayed on the top of the page or lists are given.
how can you see what thread the other user is on or is viewing
Go to the boards list. The line "Currently Active Users" is actually clickable, it takes you to a display of who is on, and what they are doing. It is just a general guide though, it updates on a schedule, so you cannot be certain someone is doing exactly what it says.
It is sometimes v-e-r-y slow to load.
