I feel a sudden urge to muck around with industrial strength magnets; what type of permanent magnet will offer the greatest magnetic field / size [dont care bout weight] ratio?
I think i know the answer to this question already, and thats the Neodymium Iron Boron type, but would like some verification. Thanks in advance.
Hrm, now why would you be wanting super magnets? Your not going to try and rent a helocopter and fly over the IRS building with the magnet are you? CAUSE IT WAS MY IDEA AND IM GOING TO DO IT FIRST!

To do that, ill need some sort of magnet that alternates field orientations; perhaps an electromagnet on AC. Too hardcore for me at this stage :)
I disapprove. I feel a magnet sufficient to crash Jupiter into us would be much more powerful but lack the comprehension to say so without being a jackass!
