Looking for weather site with extensive information

Does anyone know if there is any weather site where I could know the world record in hottest/lowest temperature of the day?
Right now I just search Yahoo's weather engine and look for hot places like Death Valley, Kuwait City and so on...But it would be really nice if there were some site where I could get the hottest temperature recorded on earth that day immediately.

... That might be a place to start... I saw a lowest temp (-89.2 C), but not a highest temp.

I already know all those records. The thing I'm interested in is the record temperatures for the day when I'm viewing.
