How to configure correctly on CLion - C++ project

Hey everyone.

I have been provided with some project (folder) in C++ which includes some cpp and header files.

Now I'm opening CLion -> new project -> Project Folder

But now the CMakeLists is not created in the folder.

I have been always bad in the stage of configuration the project and I'm not sure what I have to exactly define there etc...

Can someone explain briefly the configuration process or even provide me with some relevant tutorial?
