Need help compiling

Ok, so I am new here and I don't know if this is the right place to ask, but here goes...

I am trying to compile "sawfish-1.0.1" on a Sun Ultra 10, running Solaris 8.

I run the following commands:

1. './configure --prefix=/local/mnt/gnome-1.4'
-This runs fine-

2. 'make'
-This one runs for quite a while with no problem, but then gives me the following error:
"In file included from sawmill-capplet.c:42:
/opt/gnome-1.4/include/capplet-widget.h:5: warning: No include path in which to find gtk/gtk.h"

I know you are likely to need more info, but I am not sure what you need. I will provide any/all information your require.
