IP Address ?

A very simple Q - How do you obtain your computer´s IP address without writing code ?

I know that its possible but I have forgotten ...

On windows?

Get a command prompt and type IPConfig

http://www.whatismyip.com/

In linux use a terminal as root and type:

ifconfig

if it fails try
/sbin/ifconfig

Your IP address is after the inet addr
