    C++ editor for Gnome on ubuntu

    Hi ,

    I want to make GUI application on Ubuntu but when I try to install kdevelop then it give error that :

    configure: error: The important program kde-config was not found!

    I think that It is due to that I am using Gnome........

    Can any body tell me the best editor for creating C++ console and GUI application on Gnome......

    Maybe Anjuta is still developed?

    Or get Eclipse with the CDT.

    Code::Blocks has a Linux version, too.
