Just wondering if anyone knows some good ones.. currently I'm writing my sources with such editors like nano =)
Do you know any good ones with colors?

emacs on X, vi on console... then again, I'm starting to like gvim.

XEmacs is a very nice editor when you have it configured right. That might take a while like one or two days but when you've done it, it's really a very nice tool.

P.S.: Emacs has everythin' as long as you have the plugin
#include "reallife.h"
The same goes for gvim, although I think the default .vimrc file has syntax highlighting enabled as a default.

VIM of course ;-))
LoL, call me old fashioned, but I like console Emacs the best. Although, XEmacs is pretty cool.

Well, isn't it _a_bit_ confusing?
I prefer nano, at least it doesn't take much space and is simple.
I prefer gvim. I even wrote a syntax highlighter for GTK+
wich can be activated by :set syntax=gtk

Well, if you are talking about console emacs, it is not. It took me a couple minutes to become proficient in it. All you have to do is press f10 and you have your whole menu in front of you.
