    Books?

    What book would anybody recommend for QT programming? Any other ideas for general linux programming, or anything of the sort is also welcome.
    Because I can't.

    "Advanced Programming in the UNIX Environment" (or something like that) is a decent book for general *nix programming.

    Yeah, that one is by Richard Stevens. You could also try to lay your hands on The UNIX Programming Environment by Kernighan and Pike. If you have lots of cash to spend, Beginning Linux Programming by Stones and Matthew has some interesting stuff in it. An older book, but still with some decent ideas is Teach Yourself Linux Programming in 24 Hours by Warren Gay. I don't think you can get that book new anymore, but usually Amazon seems to have a copy or two in the used book section.
