    KDevelop

    What are the 150000 files that get attached to a HelloWorld for? Can someone give me some instances of where they are useful and how to change them? Or at least point me to a direction of a tutorial or something .

    Well, it's mostly for automatic documentation I think. Under open source, there can be lots of strange things that happen, and you need the proper documentation to prove that you made the program, although it probably can be easily faked.

    These are automatically generated files and docs to make your life easier.

    I'm not very fond of KDevelop, i prefer to write my own Makefiles.
