Do most programmers in the workplace use a Linux OS?
remember samg1, computers by their very nature are not courteous.
Depends on the work place.
Some places of work allow employees to use their own computers to get the job done, then in that case it depends on the user. Otherwise very few places of work make employees use a Linux Workstation for the simple reason that they would have to teach the users how to use it. So they try to use something everyone understands. However, I have noticed a lot of NON-Workstations using Linux. Servers etc. And at Resturaunts their price check register or whatever uses Linux, so does the bank. So again...
It depends where you work.
