Hello friends,
Iam using opensource ntpclient to keep update my target board time.
My general doubt is if i make change of my target board time using the date command , does it have the same effect which ntpclient utility do.
I mean do this ntpclient will update any kernal clock ( i donot know it exists or not as such which date command will not do ).
My scenario is as below i.e i have to add offset to the existing time when current time falls between a specified time interval. What my plan is once ntpclient completes synching with the ntpserver then i just update the time by this offset using "date" command (ofcourse when current time is between required interval).
Hope iam clear about my requirement here.
thanks and regards
