Ok I can't confirm that on my end since someone gave me another positive for my poo-poo head comment

So black would be neutral? Now say someone makes a neg comment but they have no rep so I get a black dot, then overtime they get some rep, will that dot chnage or will it say the same?

I believe it stay's the same...check your profile to see what a real negative looks like...I have rep power...

What if everyone disapproves everyone else right in the beginning... then nobody has any rep, so nobody can give rep to anyone else... Is there any safeguard against someone coming here and clicking 'disapprove' on everybody else infinitely (do a circuit type of thing so that they don't get "spread some rep around first"), until everyone's rep has thoroughly been ruined?

**An info sticky on how reps work would be nice...

There is a limit to the number of rep ratings a person can give in a day.

A sticky - or addition to the rules is possible or even likely. I've been thinking about that - right now I don't want to add clutter to the boards, but I'll figure out where to put it and add one soon...like after my exams are finished .

Reputation power isn't based entirely on reputation.

One good thing is that you have to spread it around before you can hit one person again.

The first time I read that, I missed the word 'with'.
Naturally I didn't feel inspired enough to read all the links for you, since I already slaved away for long hours under a blistering sun pressing the search button after typing four whole words! - Quzah

Hmm this is interesting. I just got an email that someone replied to a thread I have subscribed to:

    Hello JaWiB,

ZakkWylde969 has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to
entitled - Final Fantasy I - in the General Discussions forum of C Board.

    This thread is located at:
    http://cboard.cprogramming.com/showt...7&goto=newpost

Here is the message that has just been posted:
    ***************
So what do you guys listen to when you code? I have a list of cd's put
in a playlist that I tend to listen to. It has...

    1. Black Label Society- The Blessed Hellride
    2. Van Halen- The Best of Van Halen, Vol 1.
    3. Skid Row- 40 Seasons, best of Skid Row
    4. Metallica- Master of Puppets
    5. Metallica- Ride the Lightning
    6. Megadeth- Sill alive, and well...?
    7. Led Zeppelin- Early and Later Days, Best of Led..
    8. Guns N Roses- Use your Illusion II
    9. AC/DC- Back in Black

I like the harder rock stuff. Sort of motivates you. And songs like
Ride the Lightning seem to get me wanting to continue sitting at this desk
    for hours.
    ***************
That's obviously not what is posted in that thread...Maybe he accidentally replied to it and then it got moved though...

Edit: Rod, I just noticed your avatar...Is that what I think it is?
