I'm also noticing that, when posting, I sometimes receive a popup from my browser (firefox) asking for permission to move away from a page (with one option to continue, and one not to).

Selecting the option to continue is what is necessary to actually post (selecting the other allows continuing to edit). The catch is, on an increasing number of occasions, selecting the option to continue results in TWO copies of the post appearing in the thread. When I see those within the permitted period, I delete them.

Same happens if I edit one of my posts - so I can duplicate a post by attempting to edit it. Or have two slightly different versions of a post.

If I seem grumpy or unhelpful in reply to you, or tell you you need to demonstrate more effort before you can expect help, it is likely you deserve it. Suck it up, Buttercup, and read this, this, and this before posting again.

See what I mean about duplication?

    O_o

@grumpy: I've been seeing that a lot as well. If you see that "redirect" popup before your inactivity timeout (I believe the timeout is about ten minutes.), load the list view in a separate tab/window. Yeah, it is a hassle, but I've had fewer instances of duplicate posts the last couple of days.

I've also seen the redirect popup a fair bit lately, and some of the vB messages as well. As for the redirect issue, I usually click "Cancel", copy-paste my reply into a text editor as a backup, and refresh the page. The majority of the time, my post is there, and it's only there once.

Not sure if this will be read, but here goes.

Whenever I've submit a post over the last day or so, I get a message

The following errors occurred with your submission
    Database Error
The post does actually appear in the thread (although it is necessary to find the thread again and read it separately) since nothing shows up in new post list and post count in the thread appears not to be updated.

........ is really hitting the fan here, the general discussions page is not updating for me (had to click on the last post link to get here), and the reply numbers are wrong.

Something else I noticed the other day while hopping on for a few minutes - when I checked "new posts", several threads indicated zero replies - but when I clicked on it, there were several replies. Furthermore, the post counts (of the OP at least, didn't check the regular members) did not increase in those threads.

An example can be found by searching for user "splee". It shows two threads - the first looks normal, and that user posted five times. The latest indicates zero replies (though there are several replies on the thread) and that users post count remains at five.

Just posting to make sure my account is verified after changing emails.

Also I only see one active non-sticky thread in the General Discussions board. Is that normal?

I fired my ubuntu box up and for some bizarre reason, it's impossible to enter my password at the small login prompt to the top left. It's as if the textbox rejects me. I had to just enter my username and press login, which took me to the error page. There I could enter the password just fine.

Reporting a post (e.g. SPAM) causes the forum to load/wait (for something) for about a minute or so and doesn't give any hint that the report has actually been processed when it's done. This happened each time I used the feature, should be fixed.
