Can you actually see a post there? I see just a blank page and the thread content is missing...
I've seen that problem at least once before and just ignored it.
Also, I've noticed at least once where I replied to a thread and it said there were no replies.

A thread never gets read if there are no posts in it (ie, the person who created the thread deleted their post).Can you actually see a post there? I have a minor problem that hits me almost every day. I glanced through the previous entries, but didn't read every one of them, so this may be an old issue.
I'll come into one of the boards, say the "C Programming" one, and there will be 15 unread threads. I'll read a few, and reply to one, and suddenly none of the threads on the entire site are unread.
I've had this happen with IE and Safari, I'm not sure whether I've seen it under Firefox.

How long do you read or reply without previewing or refreshing the page? I've noticed that if you sit long enough, the unread threads become read through some sort of presence timeout. I've gotten into the habit of occasionally refreshing the page when reading, and constantly previewing my replies. That seems to take care of it as long as I'm not called away from my desk.
I'll try that. Sometimes I do get called away from my desk. Sometimes I spend a lot of time working on a response (testing code, checking man-pages, doing Google searches, making sure that I'm answering the question asked, etc.)

I still get "An error occured while trying to log you out" every time I log out. I have to click on an extra link and then it works.
Does anyone else have this problem?

The page didn't load properly, and I think that's what's caused the problem.
And it has the icon that means "you have replied in this thread" (because I have) even though I didn't start the thread and it has zero replies.
