Have the forums been down for a while? Also, have any other moderators had trouble viewing IPs in Who's Online? This looked a little odd to me:
My best code is written with the delete key.
And can someone fix the edit boxes when you hit "edit"? Every time I do that I lose all indentation in the previously posted code... and if I copy and paste code from a code block, I lose all linebreaks too. It's kind of de-motivating when I'm trying to help someone out and all my work collapses into a heap of un-indentedness

In this thread
http://cboard.cprogramming.com/showthread.php?t=56361
the thread starter misspelled the caption and later corrected it. However, the caption did only change within the post and not in the list of thread topics.
From what I remember, this is an old bug. Why hasn't it been fixed by the people at vBulletin? Does anyone have any information about this.
And I really don't like the way the new editbox at all, especially the way it handles pasted code from VC++ and tabs in general.

User's can only change the message title, the thread title is stored separately
Mods can edit thread titles (and I just have done)
If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.
Hey,
first of all i didnt really know where to post this but anyway here it goes.
As i went onto cboard.cprograming.com the board didnt seemed to resize to the size of my screen ( or resolution whatever it was )
That was when i was not logged on, but when i log on it resizes.
Just to let one of the mod know.
Maybe you already knew about it or that´s the way its supposed to be and then this post was worthless to you people ( moderators ), still i thought it was worth mentioning to you.
Greets,
Ganglylamb.
::edit::
Well Oh I just saw the stickey at the GD "Bugs and strange things", sorry for creating a new thread...

Woop?
We are aware of this problem and apologize for it. We were forced to change a setting on the board that caused several people's reputation choice to change. If you cannot resolve the problem by changing the setting in your user cp, please PM me and I'll make sure it gets fix.
Sorry for the inconvenience,

Not to beat a dead horse, but my rep got disabled when I checked the boards this morning as well. I reenabled it and things are back to normal now.

Would it be possible for the reputation system to be extended so that we can reply to comments given? Perhaps without knowledge of the sender so that they can remain anonymous since that seems to be a big thing?
[/silly request]
I've gotten two excellent comments recently that I'd like to respond to. Well, here they are with my replies, for lack of a better place:
I did.Though I think you should've snuck something into the code that had no effect other than to say plainly "I did not write this code", in a way she probably wouldn't have noticed
It takes quite a bit to get me frustrated/irritated with a thread.never got fustrated with me yet either!
My best code is written with the delete key.

And when they want to respond to your reply? Idea: To get a super high rating really quick, keep your anonymous reputation conversations going as long as possible. But on a more serious note, I think that's a good idea. I've had a couple reps that I'd like to reply to too.

I was thinking about the rep system a little bit and I have some ideas:
Make it more like ebay: everyone can see the feedbacks, who they are from, and what comment is left. Then I can look at say Prelude and see why she has XYZ score vs why I have my score.
At the main page, it says that the most recent thread in the FAQ forum is FAQ: substituting cout (C++) from 01-18-2003
However, I cannot access that thread from within the FAQ forum, only from the direct link at the main page. Perhaps there are too many stickys in the FAQ forum or something.
