Hello,
I have a family member who keeps using a phone I bought for someone else, and they keep taking the other persons sim card out and putting theirs in. Last week I superglued in the sim card, battery, and plastic back cover. And it was working fine for days before I left.
However, apparently the person who use to keep swapping the sims has said the battery has now melted/expanded and no longer functioned. And used this as justification to rip it apart to get the sim card out.
I do not know whether to believe this person. I cannot put a pin2 on it ie, so they are prompted for a pin if the phone is switched off. They are elderly. The sim card just needs to remain in the phone.
My questions are:
1) Do you believe this can happen? It's a nokia 3310 (new model)
2) Is there any other method of sealing the sim card in so it can't be taken out?
Thanks
