    Question Wot...no "like" buttons?

    Surprised to see that this forum doesn't have upvote buttons. Any good reason for that?

    Yeah we used to have that.
    But it just descended into rep wars and offered no meaningful value.
    If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.

    Did it? I don't recall likes being shown under the profile images to the left. And imo it offered a meaningful way of showing appreciation without repeatedly writing "thanks!" in an ongoing thread. It also allowed observing users to flag great posts without getting involved in the discussion.

    I liked the like button!
