Is the forum slow for anyone else?

I've been having issues loading the forum for the past 2-3 days. Takes about 25 seconds to fetch a page. Anyone else?

Yeah it looks like it takes longer to perform a TLS handshake than on other sites.

    Ditto
If you dance barefoot on the broken glass of undefined behaviour, you've got to expect the occasional cut.
If at first you don't succeed, try writing your phone number on the exam paper.

My goodness, the slowdown! For me, it lags for many many seconds on "Creating secure connection".

Is it just me or is anyone else unable/having difficulty to reply to certain threads?

Edit: Talking about this thread in particular: fread returns 0, perror: No error

Yeah someone really needs to look into this, one moment it is working fine, then it is like I can go cook dinner then come back and it's still trying to get in or post.

It has normally been fine for me, but weirdly became slow a couple of hours ago, although I haven't been around that much for the past couple of days.

I think I found the culprit, it's you miss! Looks like I've had to wait 2800 years for that avatar to load.

No, but seriously the forum is sluggish as hell again.

We've had the problem with the TLS handshakes before as I recall (something related to Cloudflare?). Is this hard to get right robustly? And wouldn't a simpler setup suffice? It's not like you can cache live content beyond unpersonalized data, and that only for brief periods, right?
