So... I've been having some pain and a little swelling in my neck.
I had a CT scan of my neck yesterday...
Wish me luck, yeah?

Do you think your neck problems are related to hunching over a keyboard for years? I've heard of people having back problems because of it
When you say "wish me luck" are you suggesting it might be ... you know.
Anyway, good luck.
(Cool use of computers with the CT, PET, MRI scans.)
I also have heard about that. Yes, perhaps in some cases, it could be that hunched over your computer keyboard for a long time can be a major cause of neck pain. So, I think, CT scan and help from your doctor is advisable. By the way, orthotics ( a support to correct the function of movable parts of the body) may be the best cure for moderate neck or posture problems as well.

After having separate bouts of wrist, elbow, and neck pain, I had to look this stuff up and change things at the office and desk at home.
All the best!

We don't know each other well, but all the best!
P.S. In any case, good luck my friend. If you are very worried about this, you should go to the imaging center and get the report from them directly instead of having to wait to see your doctor again. They always have a summary of results section that will make it perfectly clear if something is majorly wrong or not.
Any news on this?

Nope.
I didn't think to ask at the imaging center myself, and I didn't read the post from Epy until they had closed for the day.
I will not now hear anything until Monday.

I Just got back from my doctor with good news.
The CT scan showed no nasty stuff.
I was a good deal more stressed than I'd care to really discuss so I really appreciate the support.
Thanks. A lot.
