As some of the regulars may know, I have a pipe-dream to one day publish many of the comic ideas I have. I am doing some work on this project tonight.

Since I want to remain organized, I am actively planning each and every possible detail to manage complexity and maintain consistency.

As a result, I have found myself actually writing a "comic" specification. I've even used the word "shall" more than I ever should have in such a thing.

Has anyone else ever found themselves going overboard in such a ridiculous fashion?

Well I dont know if you intended that as sarcasm, but I like Uncyc (and Illogico) because they have the right balance between too obvious and too subtle. Mostly. Illogicopedia's humour though seems to have deeper layers too at times, but not without the existence of the "balanced" humour.
