    Euler's Disk

I had to buy one of these.

It's a heavy metal disk about 3" in diameter and 1/2" thick. It also includes a large polished concave platform to spin the disk on. The main spinning action is like the wobbling / spinning that you see at the end of when you spin a coin.

So you give the disk a light spin.

After half a minute, it's still going and you think ok, not bad.

After a minute, it's still going and you think, wow, that's pretty good.

After a minute and a half, it's still going and you think this is crazy.

And at two minutes, when it finally stops, you don't know what to think.

    Pretty neat

    O_o

And they apparently sound like some alien engine technology as the spin plays.
